Selection process
The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) is responsible for the selection of staff for permanent and contract positions in the institutions, bodies and agencies of the European Union. Learn more about the different selection procedures below.

To apply for a position within the EU institutions, candidates must meet a set of eligibility criteria. These vary depending on the type of role — such as permanent staff, temporary or contract staff, Seconded National Experts, or others.
